Imagine all the things you expect about going to the movies in the states, and subtly change all of them. This is what the cinema in Edinburgh was like. It was almost right, but everything was just a tiny bit different.

The first thing to notice when you arrive in the theater is that there's a bar in front -- not just a snack bar. You're welcome to buy a pint of beer, and enjoy that along with the movie. The music is euro dance music, instead of pop rock muzak. For some new movies, the seating is reserved.
